Poly or steel chicken fence kits that include a minimum of 6" of overlap to pin to the ground. Typically, all types of permanent chicken fences have ground overlap. This deters animals from digging up under the fence for access. Chicken fence kits with overlap can be removable / moveable but not as easy to move – ground stakes will need to be taken up and installed again each time.
